Bill Smith Plumbing & Heating History
Bill Smith Plumbing & Heating was named after World War II veteran Bill Smith. Bill’s generation defeated Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. As the letter from President Truman says—it was time for these veterans to come home and work to make America a better place in peace. Mr. Smith accomplished this by starting Bill Smith Plumbing & Heating in 1956.
Two subsequent owners worked with Bill Smith as plumbers or heating and air conditioning technicians and were brought on board to help manage operations. Each eventually bought the company. Today, we are in the third generation of ownership, and we take pride in our value-based approach to business.
